Vintage Lilac Silk Pastel Floral Embroidered Piano Shawl Belted Boho Jacket
This vintage lilac silk pastel floral embroidered piano shawl belted boho jacket dates from the 1940s. It is made of a pale pinkish purple lilac color silk fabric with colorful pastel raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work flowers. This exquisitely embroidered quality made jacket has a short hip length tailored style, with long full sleeves, an embroidered lapel collar, an attached embroidered belted back tie front with a hook closure and is fully lined in a blue nylon fabric with shoulder padding. It was created from an older antique embroidered Manton de Manila piano shawl fabric. The jacket measures 24 inches long, with a 34 inch chest, 26 inch waist, 13 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, with some fade discoloration along the shoulders and collar (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
