for Henri Bendel Tan Beige Coat Sz 40 6 Early 80's France
NWT & never worn totally unique beige knit coat purchased in NYC in 1984
designer Jinabe Paris for Henri Bendel & made in France
exaggerated collar can be worn in a variety of ways & has 3 metal snaps
7 metal snap front closure which are a gunmetal color
has 2 basted-in shoulder pads which could be clipped out (same fabric as coat)
batwing sleeves with slit cuff &1 matching snap at the wrist
no pockets or vents
asymmetric hem with pleating at the back
unlined but all seams are finished
beautiful top stitching & attention to detail
57% wool % 43% linen
dry clean as per the care tag
Size: This is labeled a Euro 40 which probably translates into a US 6 but please see the measurements.  It was photographed on a size 2/small form and is a bit roomy
shoulder to shoulder 18" to 21" (difficult with pads in place and no actual shoulder seam)
armpit to armpit 22"
sleeve length 19 1/2" to 22"
length at back from under collar 32 to 34" (asymmetric)
waist across front when snapped closed 17 1/2"
hips across front 19"
bottom edge is loose & flouncy
Condition: This is in very good vintage NEVER WORN condition.  Partial original Bendel's store tag still attached.
