Edwardian White Linen Embroidered Lace Cutwork Suit Jacket Duster
This vintage Edwardian era white linen embroidered lace cutwork suit jacket duster dates from 1910. It is made of a white linen fabric, with decorative embroidered whitework, cutwork lace trim inserts. This lovely lace loose fitting mid hip length walking suit jacket has a duster style with scalloped edging, an open front, no closure, gathered shoulders, long sleeves and is sheer, unlined. The jacket measures 28 inches long, with a 36 inch bust, 32 inch waist, 19 inch long sleeves and a 13 inch back. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with some faint discoloration along the front opening trim, a faint tiny age spot stain on one sleeve and a small break in lace on the back neck (see close-ups). This is truly an amazing piece of wearable art!
