Vintage Abalone Mother of Pearl Brass Hinged Trinket  Box - Mexico - Beautiful!
Stunning vintage Abalone - Mother of Pearl Brass Hinged Trinket Box.    The base material appears to be a brass type metal.  The outside of the entire box is covered in Abalone shell.  The interior of the box is lined in a red tone colored wood.  The inside of the cover has the brass color which will probably polish up nicely.
The workmanship is amazing.  It is a footed box, standing on small legs which gives it nice definition.
Slight discoloration on the bottom of the box where the legs were soldered on. Slight discoloration next to one of the legs.
The bottom center it is stamped Mexico.
