Description

Neal Enterprises began making the Proto-Plate number plate in late 1979 or early 1980.
The company is still owned and run by the same person and
these number plates are new production
made from the original mold. It is a flat plate that is injection molded.
Decals printed by Porkchop BMX with permission from Ken Neal himself. A 2017 copyright is at the bottom to make it obvious this is a reproduction.
Size: 8 1/2" tall not including the "ears" and 10" tall overall. 17 1/4 wide overall from ear to ear. Down tube zip tie holes are spaced 8 7/8" center to center.
Color: WHITE plastic plate with white decal printed in BLUE and YELLOW
4 "natural" color zip ties are included. These are a very close match to the ones that came with the Proto-Plates originally.
MADE IN THE USA (both plate and decal.. even the vinyl for the decal is made in the USA)
IMPORTANT: There is no substitute for MEASURING your bike before ordering. While there are some rule of thumb standard for bikes from a specific era, there are no absolutes. Save yourself time and money and MEASURE first, order once.
