For sale is an original Armstrong brand 1-1/2” wrench. The wrench measures approximately 8 inches in length by approximately 2 1/2 inches in width. It has a black handle and is in solid condition. This is a military issued wrench back in World War II. It is stamped with the item number 3B5861
Please refer to the pictures for the condition of this wrench. I do have more than one of these available, so while you may not receive the exact item in the picture you will receive one in equal or better condition. These wrenches were packed away in cosmoline, A military grease used to keep metal from rusting and deteriorating. The wrench that you will receive does still have a certain amount of baked On cosmoline on it. This is easily removed when Soaked in a heavy solvent… Something you can pick up at in the automotive parts store.
These came from a multi generational supply/ surplus/industrial machine business. Most likely these are from the 1930s or 1940 (i’m guessing) and have set up on a shelf for the last 60+ years.
