Gorka (Горка) stands for Mountain Battle Dress Uniform (BDU). "Gora" means Mountain.
Nowadays, Russian Special Forces are allowed to use virtually any type of uniform they like (in non-ceremonial settings).
However, about 90% of our Special Forces operatives still use various modifications of Gorka Mountain Suits
because they are simply great in extremely demanding locations such as North Caucasus Alpine region.
Bars GORKA-3 (3rd Generation) - Original Military Issue Uniform
Bars Gorka suits are made from quality 100% cotton which is very comfortable & allows wearer`s body to breathe
during lengthly military operations. Those areas of Gorka suits that are particularly susceptible to wear & tear employ
reinforced 50% cotton + 49% polyester material. Gorka suits feature various drawstrings to allow greater adjustment
of the suit for every particular body type. Bars Gorka Suits are subjected to water repellant treatment
to improve their
water-resistance qualities.
Bars Gorka Suits meet all relevant Russian Government Standards for Army Battle Clothing (GOST`s).

HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR SIZE:
The first number corresponds to your chest circumference divided by 2.
So, if you have a chest circumference of 112cm. Simply divide this number by 2. This will give you your size: 112/2 = Size 56
The second number is the Russian Army height rating:
1 = 158cm = 5'2"
2 = 164cm = 5'5"
3 = 170cm = 5'7"
4 = 176cm = 5'9"
5 = 182cm = 5'12"
6 = 188cm = 6'2"
7 = 194cm = 6'4"
8 = 200cm = 6'7"
So, if you are 194cm tall (or 6'4") - you need Height 7 suit.
And, with chest circumference of 112 & 6'4" height you would need Gorka suit in size 56/7.

Parka type jacket with 8 buttons;
5 pockets in total:
2 x lower pockets with buttons;
2 x shoulder pockets with velcro fasteners;
1 x internal pocket inside the left side of the jacket with button;
Reinforced shoulders and elbows (tarpaulin);
Waist drawstring;
Double hood with sun visor design;
The hood is equipped with 2 x volume control drawstrings;
Bottom of the sleeves have elastic bands;
Pants:
4 Button fly
Reinforced knee and seat areas (tarpaulin);
6 pockets in total:
2 x below waist front pockets;
2 x rear pockets with button closures;
2 x knee level side pookets with button closures;
Elastic waist;
Calf dust skirts prevent dust from getting inside pants;
