    Description

    This is an amazing, museum quality, jet beaded Victorian jacket circa 1900 or earlier. The beading is made up of several different shapes, including stars, hearts, several round one faceted and flat and long pointed ovals. Along the edges the beading makes up paisley designs on the vivid/ fuchsia purple purple velvet with no flea bites. The waist is about 28" There is damage on the left shoulder and the purple chiffon wrists have worn over age. The jacket displays beautifully and the lavishly beaded jacket front is breathtaking.It is quite heavy at 1.2 lbs.
