ABALONE INLAID BOX - HANDMADE - WOOD LINED - AZTEC?

Hello Friends!
This auction is for a  HANDMADE  AZTEC MOTIF BOX.  Inlaid with Abalone, this is clearly handmade (See Pictures).  The Box measures about 4 inches by 3 inches by 7/8 inch.  The box is lined with a dark wood and has a marking on the back, which I cannot make out.   There is a "coin" inset in the lid of the box with an Aztec motif of the sun(?) god.   There is also the number 7 hand engraved on the back of the box in the corner and in the inside of the lid also in a corner.     The box is heavy, at over 6.5 ounces.  Not sure of the metal, could be silver, not sure!
