1906 Lucky Jack Shoshone Mining Beatty, Nevada STOCK CERTIFICATE Bullfrog Dist.

Description

This is a truly rare piece of Nevada Mining History. The Lucky Jack Mine was part of the Bullfrog District in Beatty, Nevada (Nye County).
It was known as the Bullfrog Mining District (Bullfrog Hills) because of a gold rush that began in 1904. I could not find anything on this particular mine. But it is listed on a website with all the other from that area. This is for 500 shares, purchased a each. Thats quite a bit of money for 1906. There is a tare, that goes half way from the top, along the last fold. The back is not filled out. So I am guessing that this was not collected on or the mine went bankrupt.
